Founding Director

Leading Impact’s Director, Abiola Ajetomobi, is a social innovator and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in strategy and operations consulting to local and state governments, NGOs and the corporate sector.

As a leader, business owner, mother of four daughters, and woman from a refugee background, Abiola brings forward-thinking entrepreneurialism, innovation and thoughtful disruption to her audiences. Her ability to connect and engage with individuals and groups from all backgrounds when shaping public policy, designing community initiatives or engaging corporate partners is remarkable. It has proven invaluable for promoting social impact and transformation nationally and internationally.

Over the past 20 years, Abiola has invested in and nurtured her strategic thinking strengths and capabilities, supporting organisations along their journey to authentic social inclusion. She believes that opportunities for profound transformation, when leveraged by visionary leaders, will create impact today and shape legacies of positive change for generations to come.

Abiola has qualifications in Business Management, Not-For-Profit Organisation Management from ACU, Specialist Leadership from University of Melbourne, Managing Innovation, and For-Purpose Executive Leadership from Melbourne Business School. Abiola is a proud recipient of the Australian Catholic University 2020 Inuagural Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Alumni Award. She won the Future Leader Award at the International Women’s Day Awards in 2015 and is a nominee for the Eliasson Global Leadership Award 2020

We provide strategic advice and consultation on lived experience centred organisational transformation.

We provide leadership coaching, training and workshops to uplift the capabilities of organisations and individuals for radical inclusion, legacy and intergenerational impact

We deliver placed based, tailored services and training to build leadership and workforce capabilities to lead, design and implement actionable diversity, equity and inclusion plans.

We aspire to become a enabling organisation, with 25% of proceeds going towards for-purpose organisations and initiatives that focus on building refugees' self-efficacy, agency and leadership potentials to occupy spaces and positions of power.

Lifting equity and inclusion capabilities requires a shift in thinking and deliberate attitudinal change.
